COLT LONDON', London proofs at breech, plain six-shot cylinder scrubbed of scene, open iron frame marked 'COLT'S PATENT', iron grip-straps and trigger guard, smooth walnut grip with traces of unit markings on the right hand side, possibly '17' over '6' and hinged under-barrel rammer, finish worn and darkly stained
